Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress that appears mainly in Tamil and Telugu film, as well as to several Malayalam films. She won the National Film Award for Best Actress for portraying the role of actress Savitri for Mahanati, a Telugu film Mahanati (2018). Additionally, she was awarded three SIIMA Awards as well as the Filmfare Award South. Keerthy, her mother is Menaka G. Suresh and filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar is an aspiring actress. Her career began as a child performer in the early 2000s and returned to films after studying fashion design. Her first big role as a lead actress in Geethaanjali (2013) which was a Malayalam feature film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy's first film outside Malayalam was Idhuenna Maayam (2015), opposite Vikram Prabhu. The film didn't do well in the theater. Her debut film was A. A. Vijay's romantic comedic Idhu Enna Maayam (2015) with Vikram Prabhu, though the film didn't do well in the theater. Her busy schedule throughout 2015 meant that she had decide to pull out of projects which she had already started working on, including Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vendam in order to make room for larger projects. In a short time she also worked alongside Sivakarthikeyan on Rajini Murugan, Remo and also played the lead on Prabhu Sool's Thodari along with Dhanush. She made her Telugu debut had been scheduled as Ainaa Ishtam nuvvu. The film has been delayed since 2015 and reports suggest it will be released after September, 2020 under the new name Janakitho Nenu. The film's first film to debut was in 2016's Nenu Sailaja with the actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy starred in Bairavaa written by Bharathan and featuring actor Vijay.
