Jillian Noel Shennessy, born November 25, 1968 in Canada is a Canadian performer and actress who has been recognized for her significant contribution in American television. She's best known for her incredible appearances on American TV programs like Law & Order (where she was awe-inspiring to viewers for three seasons as the prosecutor Claire Kincaid) and Crossing Jordan (where she portrayed the protagonist Jordan Cavanaugh). Hennessy is also famous for her outstanding performances in RoboCop 3 Most Wanted. The other films she has appeared in comprise Chutney Popcorn (an independent film) as well as The Acting Class. Hennessy began her acting career along with her twin sister as twin call girls in Dead Ringers in 1988. Her Broadway debut was with Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story. Later, in RoboCop 3 in 1993 she appeared as the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus. In the fall of that year, she joined in the ensemble cast of the NBC popular crime-drama Law & Order in the character of assistant district prosecutor Claire Kincaid. As part of the show she was awe-inspiring to viewers throughout the three years that ended in the year 1996. Parker was also awarded an award called the Tony Award for Best Actress 2001 in the play Proof.
