Reese Witherspoon took her career seriously after enrolling first as a student at Stanford University. After her first few parts, including Pleasantville and Election. In her first year of high school, Witherspoon was contemplating quitting acting completely to follow her parents into the field of medicine. The year 1996 was the year her performance as lead actress in the film Freeway won her the Catalonian International Film Festival Award for Best actress. She stayed out of college for a period of time in order to concentrate on acting. She also briefly did a course in English writing in Stanford University before deciding to resume her working. The year 2003 was the year she made The Invisible Man was her debut film. In the following years, she was a part of television shows like House of Lies Whitney & Better Call Saul. She has also appeared in two films The Dictator and The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. She is a talented painter and artist in addition to being a successful actress.
